Ages 8-12 | Drop-Off Class
Let your child experience the magic of the pottery wheel! This beginner-friendly workshop is the perfect introduction to throwing clay. Our instructor will guide young artists step by step as they learn how to center clay, shape it on the wheel, and create their very own bowl.
Working on the pottery wheel is a fun challenge that encourages creativity, patience, and problem-solving while helping develop fine motor skills and confidence. Classes are kept small so every child receives plenty of encouragement and individual attention in a relaxed, supportive environment.
The class fee includes clay, glazes, kiln firing, and one finished bowl. After class, each piece will remain at the studio to dry, be fired in our kilns, glazed by our staff, and fired a second time. Finished bowls are typically ready for pickup about three weeks after class.
Please Note: This is a drop-off class for children ages 8-12. To provide the best learning environment and maximize studio space, we do not have a parent waiting or viewing area during class. Parents will come into the studio at pickup time, where children can proudly show off what they created before heading home.
